JEE.ro vol.20, no.4 (of 6 per year), is here in time, with another batch of 40 interesting papers. As usual, the majority is related to power electronics in industrial applications which is the enabling of most technological progress. Motion and power control in electric motor/ generator drives for renewable energy and e-transport is another hot technology of industrial interest. We suggest the authors to come with more, comprehensive, papers in these two high priority fields. Also, we encourage authors to come up with solid papers with experiments of original electric motor drives of higher torque density, efficiency and power factor in robotics, in home appliances. More advanced power electronics for data centres is needed and pertinent paper proposals are expected in this area, too. These selection of hot subjects does not exclude the publication of comprehensive papers in other field of power electrical and electronics engineering (like electromagnetics, electrostatics etc.). As we noticed that some papers do not get reviews in due time, or some authors do not send the revised form of the paper in due time, we urge both, the authors and the reviewers to act diligently on these issues. In a extreme situation, the authors who’s papers have not being reviewed in about 6 months, have the right to ask for withdrawal of the paper without any “penalty” from the Editor. Finally, thanks are due to our active reviewers who did their job in time in this strenuous period and to authors who kept uploading papers at a reasonable high pace given the COVID-19 situation. Sincerely, Ion Boldea, Editor in Chief of www.JEE.ro IEEE Life Fellow June 25, 2020
