We are happy to present you volume 14 no.3, September 2014 of www.jee.ro , again 50 papers, many with experiments; from a wide geographic spread. After experimenting with the improved paper reviewing software and interim associate editors related to various subfields, we want to thank all these peoples who took responsibility and thus we have reduced the backlog of the papers by 5 months. The earliest paper published in this issue was received in January 2014. We still have an accepting rate of 46%; this is not a planned value; it is rather a result of papers quality. To increase your chances for publication, please prepare rather complete papers with strong theoretical original contributions and experimental validation, investigating timely subjects. We also welcome practical papers from industry. Starting from this issue, the list of our associate editors which are responsible for different subdomains in the process of reviewing is mentioned on the PEOPLE SECTION of the web page and also at the end of each publication issue.
