Volume 10, no.1, March 2010 of www.jee.ro is here with 21 papers. We decided to increase further the number of papers per trimestrial issue in an effort to keep close to the six months time lag between receiving and publishing after reviewing an accepted paper.
We acknowledge that the number of uploads continued to increase and we have already almost ready for publication enough papers for the June and September issues. This is a good sign. However, in terms of the number of papers with solid theoretical contribution claims, documented by thorough analysis, digital simulations and experiments, we are still in need for steady improvements. To encourage further such a trend we decided to reduce the number of papers that are published without experiments, so, please, potential authors, notice this.
We have already sent to ISI the last three consecutive issues required for appraisal and we will continue to send them every issue from now on, hoping to get ISI certification in a reasonable amount of time.
Based on a thorough analysis of www.jee.ro evolution over the last 9 years, recommendations for the Journal to ISI are now being prepared by a number of personalities with wide visibility.
To further increase the visibility of our new Journal, we ask all potential authors to search in our archive (site) and cite at least one paper from it; please mark www.jee.ro as the name of the Journal, so that it can be easily identified and further used by readers for reference.
Sincerely,
Professor Ion Boldea
