After a presentation of the process of water treatment in a thermal power plant (TPP), we present an application of a supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADA) in a TPP. In fact, almost all critical industrial infrastructures and processes are managed remotely from central control rooms, using computers and communications networks. Thus, the architecture of the supervisory system and the different steps of the application have been presented. Our contribution in this work consists in programming and visualizing new parameters of the chemical analysis of the water - steam cycle to the SCADA system.
