Abstract
This paper presents a study of modelling of BLDC motor drive using classical approach and bond graph theory. System equations are generated by using a step-by-step procedure from bond graph theory. Bond Graph method is rapidly developing to promote a new methodology of modelling and simulation of electrical systems that suits for multi - domain systems effectively. The dynamic behavior of the BLDC motor drive has been studied from the simulation results that are obtained by using MATLAB/SIMULINK software package.
