GPC/Dead-beat Controller for High Rotor Flux Response of an Induction Motor Drive with Energy Saving
Main Article Content
Abstract
The objective of this paper is to present an analysis of how to get high performance of an induction motor drive. Firstly, an energy saving control in steady state is developed to improve high efficiency of the induction motor drive. The rotor flux yielding maximum driving efficiency is calculated on the basis of reference torque. Secondly, in order to ensure minimum loss without degradation of the dynamic response, a generalized predictive controller with Deadbeat tuning was developed which outputs quickly and stably the rotor flux of the induction motor. Simulation results demonstrates the performance of the proposed study.
