Abstract
The paper proposes an optimization control method by adjusting the values of turn-on, turn-off and demagnetizing angles of switched reluctance motor (SRM) according to minimum torque ripple.
An optimization method based on Genetic Algorithms (GA) is applied to find the best operating parameters values of SRM for minimum torque ripple. A real-coded representation is used. The optimum parameters for different operating conditions are presented
