An Advanced SMPS Converter for Track the Maximum power from the Thermoelectric Generator

Abstract
In this paper, discussion about an advanced SMPS converter to track the maximum power from the thermoelectric generator. Why because Thermoelectric generator (TEG) [1]-[3], typical efficiency is in between 5% - 8%. Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) Vanished up to 70% of the energy they can be create, largely through heat. As fuel budget becomes more significant for the auto industry each year and with the passing of gradually strict guidelines, car manufacturers had an alert eye on a long-standing concept known as the Seebeck effect. This paper using An Advanced SMPS converter 95.2% efficient is used to improve the overall efficiency of TEG. An innovated Open-circuit (MPPT) technique is used to Harvest the energy from the TEG. By implement this concept in auto industry, lessen the fuel consumption by 5% [5].The proposed circuit simulated in Matlab Simulink.
