A METHOD TO LOCATE BAD DATA IN LARGE POWER SYSTEM USING DISTRIBUTED APPROACH

Abstract
It is essential to determine the presence of bad data in power system networks and to identify the reasonable meters which cause bad data error. In this paper, a distributed approach is adopted which enables distribution of complex system network into different area and apply meter identification procedures separately in each area. The reasonable meters identified using individual error determination technique after grouping into distributed areas. It improves sensitivity as well as reliable detection of bad data along with locating the affected meters. The system works with MATLAB platform to verify meter identification.
