Abstract

Power devices reliability analysis and prediction plays an important role in determining the overall functionality of renewable energy power conversion system. In this paper, the reliability of various DC-DC converters is analysed for variation in frequency, variation in quality of components, variation in temperature etc., Also, reliability block diagram approach is used to determine the reliability of system with and without open circuit faults. Comparative analysis of DC-DC converter is done by using Symbolic Hierarchical Automated Reliability and Performance Evaluator tool. The calculated theoretical values are validated with simulation results.
