Abstract

In this paper a novel Enhanced
emotional learning based intelligent controller
(EELBIC) is proposed to control a secondary
impedance of single phase induction motor. Single
phase induction motor is the crucial load to a grid.
Hence small improvement in performance of SPIM
results in huge improvement in a grid. Powerfactor
is the significant parameter in quality of electricity.
In this paper improvement of powerfactor is
analyzed using secondary impedance control using
artificial intelligent controllers. Fuzzy gain
scheduling controller is applied for secondary
impedance control and compared with
conventional PI based system. Less computational
time based intelligent method of EELBIC is
proposed and analyzed using Matlab Simulink.
Benefits of EELBIC based proposed system in the
aspects of motor and grid are analyzed in this
paper.
