Abstract

This paper presents a SEIG-IM plant using a self excited induction generator driven by wind turbine and supplying an induction motor which is coupled to a centrifugal pump. A system modeling in dynamic state is established. A control strategy optimizes the quantity of the pumped water is proposed. A fuzzy controller is implemented to adjust, while wind speed variation, the actual value of the total capacitive bench to its optimal value. Following the system modeling and simulation, results discussion confirms that the use of the optimal value for the excitation capacitance improve the pump power of 10%.
