Improvement of the performance of a grid connected photovoltaic system by direct power control strategy with a new switching table

Solar energy is the most powerful permanent, clean and renewable energy source that has the potential of changing the future of the world. The use of solar energy, principally photovoltaic, for different applications mainly electrical grid, is well suited for most rural areas due to the lack of electrification, but also for a large number of the countries around the world. Here, we propose a strategy for optimizing the performance of a grid-connected photovoltaic power system. To achieve this, we used the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control method based on the fuzzy logic controlled. To control and improve the performances of a voltage source inverter for grid connected photovoltaic systems, we used the newly developed direct power control technique. We created simulations of the proposed approach MATLAB / Simulink and found very interesting results compared to the existing control strategies in this field.
