CLI-WSAN: AN ENHANCED DELAY REDUCTION MECHANISM FOR THE NETWORKED CONTROL SYSTEM

In current days, the process of delay reduction in a Networked Control System (NCS) is one of the interesting and critical task. In NCS, the communication is performed between the sensors, actuators and controllers. For this reason, various mechanisms and architectures are introduced in the traditional works, which mainly focused to increase the network performance with reduced delay. Still, it remains with the issues of inefficient data transmission, reduced packet delivery rate, and reduced Quality of Service (QoS). Here, the inter-cluster model is created between the cluster head and sink, and intra-cluster model is created between the cluster member and cluster head. Then, the internal clusters are formed based on the data rate and time slow, and the data aggregation is initiated from the cluster head to members. The packets are filtered before forwarding it to other nodes based on the aggregate function. After that, the enhanced Markovian Decision Process (MDP) is used to select the relay for enabling a better communication. Consequently, the gathered data are collected and the error are predicted, based on this the actuator control is forwarded. The simulation results evaluate the performance of the proposed work by using various measures. Also, it is compared with the traditional works for improving the efficiency of CLI-WSAN architecture.
