This article aims at providing a novel control of the Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC) applied to the sensorless speed control of the induction motor that has been a primary concern of researchers in recent years and compared with fuzzy logic control. Active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) has gained an important traction with its simple tuning method and robustness against process parameter variations, an advanced-MRAS observer is developed and employed in order to estimate the rotor speed that uses a strategy of novel technique of fuzzy logic control applied in adaptation mechanism. The simulation results conclude that the efficiency and reliability of the proposed active disturbance rejection controller is excellent under a variety of operating conditions of the induction motor drive.
